Set screws (also known as grub screws) are a special type of screw used to secure moving or sliding parts securely into position. Set screws are completely threaded along the entire length and have no head. They are widely used in a range of sectors and industries. This screw is crafted from robust steel and has a plain, zinc-plated or stainless steel (A2 or A4) finish, ensuring superior resistance to corrosion and wear. Compliant with DIN 551 and ISO 4766 standards.
These set screws are designed for pressure loads and are not suitable for tensile or shear loads.
